Foster or Foster to adopt home needed For Honey !

This is what the shelter has to say about her :

Honey is a lovely, active adult pit bull. She is compact, athletic, and very toy driven. She especially loves chasing the soccer ball and the kong. She will bring the toy right back to you and drop it in your lap. She looks to have had several litters before she came into our care but is now spayed and ready for adoption. True to her terrier nature she is very energetic and can be a handful on leash. However, she is learning not to pull and, after she has had a chance to settle down, she walks quite well on leash. Honey is quite excitable and requires an active guardian who will keep her mentally and physically exercised. She has some of her basic obedience but will likely require further training. Surrey Shelter Notes: August 5/10 – Volunteer Notes – like her name she is as sweet as can be. She is a very affectionate dog who is definitely housebroken.KCK

Honey is currently at the Comox spca, please contact them if you would like to adopt this sweet girl

Gable

Gable is a younger pit bull mix, likely just under 2 years old. He has lots of energy and needs an owner who can keep up! Gable has taken obedience classes and is very well mannered but, like all puppies,  can get excited and jump up on occasion. Gable would be best in a home that has experience with dogs, and experience with is breed would be a bonus. Gable was in a home with another male dog, which didn’t work out. He would be best as the only dog in the home, but could possibly live with a laid back female. Gable is far too interested in cats and other small animals and should have a cat free home.

Dax

This dog has fun written all over him. Dax is a 2-3 year old pit bull mix and weighs about 55 lbs. Dax finds being alone very difficult and will need a home where he can have lots of access to his person or people. In exchange Dax will give unequaled devotion. Dax has some female dog friends here at LAPS and could be a second dog. It is possible that Dax could live with the right cat. He is too excitable for young children, but could do well with older ones. Currently Dax is in a temporary foster home and has had a great review! “He is a funny, loving, well-behaved house guest.” He also provides comedic entertainment “Dax will go up a small hill, lay on his back, head pointing downwards and wriggle until he slides down the hill. He goes up again and again to repeat this performance. It is one of the many times Dax makes us laugh.” His foster parents go on to say “Fostering Dax is a real treat. He is happy to be wherever we are, sitting, working or walking. We love him and will be happy for him when a forever home is found for him. Some lucky person will have a loyal companion with a wonderful personality.”
