Bella
Bella was one of 5 puppies HugABull placed for adoption. Their mom was a registered Pit Bull, and their dad was...Well, from looking at the pups, we guess lab/border collie. They might not have been all bullie in looks, but these pups were all bullie in temperament! Sweet, biddable, outgoing, and smart as they come - we couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of pups. Or a nicer bunch of owners for that matter! Of the 5 pups, Bella was the only one that wasn't suited as a "beginner dog" - she was a real firecracker of a puppy. Full of sass, extremely confident and outgoing, high drive, with seemingly endless stores of energy. We knew it would take someone with a fair amount of dog experience to turn this little wild child into a polite adult canine citizen. So we were delighted when a family that had a lot of breed knowledge, had owned Pit Bulls in the past, and been active in breed clubs, applied to adopt her. Bella may be a mixed breed, but she fit the Pit Bull breed standard in the way that matters most to her new family - temperament. Today, she is the much cherished "youngest child" in this busy family, with two teenagers to wear her out, and, we are told, has grown into an all-around lovely dog.
