Chaos
There are some dogs that just catch your heart the instant you meet them. Chaos was one of those dogs. His owner, due to hard times, and after having Chaos his whole life, decided that he had to try to find something better for his dog. He and Chaos had become homeless and the chances of a 10 year old pittie finding a home were slim to none. If he surrendered him to a shelter, there was a huge possiblity that his dog was going to be euthanized. Chaos though had other plans. Using his instant charm and friendly bullie ambassador style, he charmed the co-director into taking him into the program. With his instant wagging tail and willingness to be "pet all over", how could she resist a looker like him?!?!?! He was the perfect foster gentleman, always totally minding his manners. We had NO idea if anyone would take in a dog this old, despite Chaos' verve for life and no one could tell he was a day over 6! Enter Chris, Rachel and Caitlin to the scene. Sadly losing their last bullie Brook to cancer, they wanted to save an adult or senior dog in need. Chaos even charmed their crotchedly old poodle.....there's something to be said for a dog with this much character. "Just to let you know things are going really well with Chaos - he's a great dog and really does his best to fit in - he got along really well with my mom's dachshund - we've also taken him jogging on the trails at UBC a few times and he trots along beside use perfectly - he seems to really like just breezing past all the other dogs on the trail. We also took him to Wreck Beach the other day and he had a great time swimming out into the ocean and fetching big sticks!!!"
