Charlie

Charlie Girl - the darling sweet pea of HugABull. Charlie sat in local shelter for months going totally unnoticed when a kind Animal Shelter Director and volunteers brought her to our attention. They said "she is a special dog" and once we met her, we agreed! Charlie had been ditched by her owner, shortly after having pups, and her big belly didn't have her in tip top girly shape, so no one wanted her. However, within minutes, we could tell this was one nice, nice dog that deserved a chance at a better life. Luckily a foster home opened up and they gladly welcomed her with open arms..and food bowls. For awhile the resident bullie wasn't necessarily convinced that Charlie should be cutting in on his attention, and we almost had to move her out to a different home. Thank god we didn't, because Charlie well... never left. She's now doted over by all in the home, especially Hank who loves to whisper sweet nothings in her ear!

Charlie is officially our first "failed foster dog!!" Their daughter had wanted "a dog of her own" and Charlie and her are like two peas in a pod ever since. Charlie's easy to please, low maintenance, sweetness for all around, two legged or four legged, goes to show that fabulous pitties do wait in shelters, hoping for someone to just stop and take notice and give them a chance.
