Loki

Loki, formerly "Joshy" is from our litter of pups placed in early 2005. The pups had been abandoned at a northern shelter at only 5 days old, and when the shelter contacted us for help, HugABull put out the call for a foster home. A couple of very generous volunteers offered to foster the whole crew until they were 8 weeks old, at which point they were flown down to Vancouver Airport, some to new homes, some to foster homes. Loki was the second largest pup in the litter, and remains a hefty boy. Recently, his family wrote to HugABull, telling us that at 7 months old Loki's weighing in at about 60lbs. His family also tells us Loki is a real smarty-pants, and graduated at the top of his puppy kindergarten class. In the first update they sent, his family wrote:

"Our new addition is doing very well, he has settled right in to the family. We have changed his name from Josh to Loki, which is the Viking god of mischief, and believe me the name really fits. Within the second day we had him he could sit, just using hand signals, he is a very smart boy and loves to watch everything that is going on around the house. He has been out and around town charming everyone that he meets. He is weighing in at about 30 pounds now and is quite a big boy. Thank you for letting us have a chance to be a bully family, Loki is a great dog and we love him so much."
