Rhino, aka The Rhinopotamus, was so named for his blue colour, his
crop-eared rhino head, and his short n' wide hippo body. He came into
the Vancouver Animal Shelter in December 2005, but a HugABuller there
knew EXACTLY what type of applications they'd get for the big,
tough-looking lug and pulled him into HugABull right away.
Rhino was 80 pounds of pure puppy at an estimated 7 months old, with no manners or
training but with tons of love, kisses, and wiggles to make up for it.
A couple on Vancouver Island fell in love with his unique good looks and
happy disposition, and when Tully, their first pitbull, met Rhino it was
love at first sight, and they knew they were meant to have Rhino in the
family.
Rhino is now happily spoiled and living in Victoria, where he
has since learned some manners and has become a wonderful breed
ambassador, handing out licks and wiggles to every person and dog that
he meets.
