Sweet, sweet Skeeter, you never felt un-loved when Skeeter was around and if you did, well then he would just wrap his big paws around your neck and give you the best dog hug you have ever had. We almost had to pry this dog way from one of our directors and his foster mom when Skeeter's forever home came calling.
Skeeter was transferred to us from a shelter up north whose adoption rate for pit bulls is very low, to almost non-existant. So Skeeter made the trek down to the coast and into the Burnaby SPCA where HugABull got the heads up about him. When our director met him she knew we had to have him in our program. He was a wonderful, goofy boy and a great bully ambassador; he was gentle with kids, and welcomed everyone with a wag of his tail, and if they let him, a big bully hug! You can now find Skeeter being a true athelete with his new family, helping them guide tourists on mountain biking adventures!
