Tink
Tink was one of 5 puppies HugABull placed for adoption. Their mom was a registered Pit Bull, and their dad was...Well, from looking at the pups, we guess lab/border collie. They might not have been all bullie in looks, but these pups were all bullie in temperament! Sweet, biddable, outgoing, and smart as they come - we couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of pups. Or a nicer bunch of owners for that matter! These days, Tink is proud to be our most Northern Bullie Representative - he lives with his very devoted owner in Yellowknife, North West Territories. HugABull does not normally do out-of-Province adoptions, but made an exception, for this exceptional home. After traveling all the way to Vancouver to meet us and some of our dogs in person, Tink's owner headed back up to the Great White North, to wait for the right pooch to enter our adoption program. After humming and hawing over various pooches, she finally decided that Tink was the one for her! Next thing he knew, the little guy was on a plane, first to Edmonton, then to Yellowknife. Because he went to his new home in the summer, it wasn't much trouble for him to become acclimated. Now Tink has settled right in to his Northern lifestyle, and is a regular fixture about town, and at the stables where his owner works. He has turned into a wonderful dog, and spends his time playing with a host of critters, including a 3-legged Miniature Eskimo Dog, and a couple of Shetland ponies! But of course, evenings are the best times, when he gets to cuddle up under a blanket and fall asleep with "mom".
